Followup Invasive Species Study
On Tuesday, October 19, 2010, a followup study on invasive species was completed by Cason and Associates. Chute Pond volunteers Pete VanderHeyden and Don Lattin assisted Brad Roost and Alex Brauer from Cason & Assoc. on the day-long project, which involved using GPS coordinated to systematically check the progress of the ongoing treatments. A rake was used to scrape the lake bottom to gather samples, which were recorded on a detailed lake map.
